This unofficial, limited-edition box set (300 numbered copies) contains three colored LPs reproducing Led Zeppelin’s concert at the Hampton Coliseum (Virginia) on September 9, 1971, and is labeled William Tell Strikes Again. It is the remastered version of a broadcast broadcast at the time by the event’s sponsoring radio station, WNOR, and documents a performance that went down in history for a particularly inspired performance by Jimmy Page. The final twenty minutes of “Whole Lotta Love” are missing from the setlist, but are compensated for by great versions of songs like “Immigrant Song,” “Heartbreaker,” “Since I’ve Been Loving You,” “Dazed And Confused” (almost 22 minutes in length) and “What Is And What Should Never Be,” by the presence of the acoustic set and by the performance, two months before the release of the fourth album, of “Black Dog,” “Stairway To Heaven” and “Going To California.” The box set also includes a booklet.
