Phil Collins, after leaving the band Genesis, made and even bigger name for himself as a solo artist. He is responsible for more US top 40 singles than any other artist in the 80’ss. His debut album “Face Value” reached number one in seven countries and after the succesof his second solo album, he went out on a worldwide tour. It has become a signature move for Collins during concerts to get behind the drums to play the iconic drum break of “In the Air Tonight” which has been described as “the sleekest, most melodramatic drum break in history” and one of the “101 Greatest Drumming Moments”.
