From a vintage radio broadcast, the unofficial label Room On Fire recovers on pink and limited edition vinyl the second part of the show that Pink Floyd held on October 17, 1971 in San Diego about two weeks before the release of the album “Meddle”. The “Atom Heart Mother” suite, performed without chorus and orchestra, opens this part of the show that from the homonymous album also resumes the placid gilmourian ballad “Fat Old Sun” before a blues improvisation in which his guitar and the organ of Richard Wright are in dialogue with the support of the rhythm section composed by Roger Waters and Nick Mason
- 1 Atom Heart Mother
- 2 Fat Old Sun
- 3 Floyd’s Blues
