PINK FLOYD BBC SUITES – NUMBERED AND COLORED VINYL

Released in a limited edition (160 copies) of colored “splatter” vinyl with a Japanese OBI cover, the bootleg LP “The BBC Suites” contains two of Pink Floyd’s most famous suites, recorded live for the British public broadcaster. The version of “Atom Heart Mother” dates back to July 16, 1970, and was performed at the BBC Paris Cinema in London with the Philip Jones Brass Ensemble and the John Aldiss Choir for BBC Radio One. The version of “Echoes” was performed at the same theater on September 30, 1971, during the group’s appearance on Radio One’s Sounds of the Seventies program, and was subsequently broadcast on October 12.
