Pressed in a limited edition (150 numbered copies (#96/150) on colored “splatter” vinyl, this double disc Japanese pressing and OBI reproduces the original LP program of the Pink Floyd live show from 1988, recorded between August 19 and 23 of that year at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York, during the North American tour promoting the album “A Momentary Lapse Of Reason” and then mixed at Abbey Road Studios in London the following September with some overdubs. Six tracks (including the singles “Learning To Fly” and “On The Turning Away”) from the recent studio album are featured in a setlist that also features classics from “Meddle,” “The Dark Side Of The Moon,” “Wish You Were Here” and “The Wall” performed by David Gilmour, Nick Mason and Richard Wright with Jon Carin (keyboards, programming, backing vocals and second lead vocal on “Sorrow” and “Comfortably Numb”), Guy Pratt (bass, backing vocals, second lead vocal on “Another Brick in the Wall (Part 2)” and “Run Like Hell”), Tim Renwick (guitars, backing vocals, second lead vocal on “Yet Another Movie”), Scott Page (saxophones and guitars), Gary Wallis (additional percussion and keyboards on “Comfortably Numb”), Rachel Fury (backing vocals), Durga McBroom (backing vocals) and Machan Taylor aka Margret Taylor (backing vocals).
