The three colorful, heavyweight LPs contained in this luxurious unofficial box set, limited to just 300 numbered copies by Wonderland, reproduce the fateful concert Pink Floyd held on July 6, 1977, at Montreal’s Olympic Stadium. It was a show that went down in history, as it was on that occasion—the final date of the “In The Flesh” tour—that Roger Waters, irritated by a firecracker going off in the stands and the roar of the crowd during the performance of “Pigs (Three Different Ones),” spat in the face of a spectator, realizing how distant the band had become from its audience (it was one of the sparks that led him to come up with the concept for “The Wall”). Joined by Snowy White (electric guitar, 12-string acoustic bass guitar and backing vocals) and Dick Parry (saxophones and keyboards), Pink Floyd performed the entire albums “Animals” and “Wish You Were Here” before performing two songs from “The Dark Side of the Moon” and closing while the roadies were already dismantling the stage and Gilmour had left the stage with an impromptu blues improvisation (“Drift Away Blues”). At the end of the program, the two parts of “Pigs On The Wing” were performed using a different sound source.
