Reissued by Andy Capp on a limited and numbered vinyl edition in four different colors (blue splatter, red and blue, red and crystal), “Libest Spacement Monitor” is a famous Pink Floyd bootleg recording of a concert held on July 16, 1970, at the BBC Paris Cinema in London’s Lower Regent Street. The performance, during which the English quartet previewed “Fat Old Sun” (not featured here), “If,” and the title track (the latter performed with the Philip Jones Brass Ensemble and the John Aldiss Choir) from their new album “Atom Heart Mother,” was recorded by the BBC and broadcast three days later on Radio 1’s “John Peel’s Sunday Concert.” It was repeated on July 22nd on the British public broadcaster’s other radio show, “Sounds of the Seventies.”
