4 LP box set. somerset, England December 14th, 1974
limited and numbered
Pressed by Casino Records Entertainment on four limited-edition 180-gram colored LPs, “Leading You Through the Land” features, for the first time on vinyl, the unofficial and excellent-quality recording of a date from Pink Floyd’s second tour in 1974: more precisely, the show that took place on December 14, 1974, at the Bristol Hippodrome, Somerset. Accompanied by Dick Parry (saxophone on “Money,” “Us and Them,” and the encore “Echoes”) and the Blackberries (Venetta Fields and Carlena Williams) backing vocals, Roger Waters, David Gilmour, Richard Wright, and Nick Mason performed the entire album “The Dark Side of the Moon,” as always, preceding it with the previously unreleased tracks “Raving and Drooling” (later “Sheep”), “You’ve Got to Be Crazy” (later “Dogs”), and “Shine on You Crazy Diamond (pts. 1-9),” which was also reissued as a bonus track (also previously unreleased on LP) in the version performed at the same venue the night before. The box set also includes a replica of the tour book, a reproduction of an advertising page with the tour dates, an illustrated insert, a numbered certificate, and liner notes.
